How daily Scrum meetings help improve teamwork.
Hi everyone! We used to have problems with coordination in our team - everyone worked on their own, and even small tasks sometimes turned into huge delays. We decided to try daily Scrum meetings, and it really helped. We meet every morning for 10 minutes, everyone tells us what they did yesterday, what they're going to do today and what their blockers are. It sounds simple, but in the end the team has a better understanding of who is working on what, and problems get solved faster. Do you have a similar experience?
It's interesting how differently people approach such things. We don't use Scrum in our company, but the idea of daily updates seems useful. Perhaps it is also a motivation for the participants - if every day you have to tell them what you have done, there is less chance of procrastination. I'll have to think about how to implement something like this.
